[Professional Footprints] Deepening ASEAN Collaborative Network: Wingway Accounting Joins World Chinese Accountants Association and SCAACPA Mission to Malaysia and Visits MIA

In July 2026, Wingway Accounting was honored to join the delegation led by the World Chinese Accountants Association and The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (SCAACPA) on a high-level exchange mission to Malaysia, featuring an official visit to the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
The mission aimed to strengthen professional connections among Chinese CPAs worldwide and establish an authoritative financial and tax framework for enterprises expanding into Southeast Asia. - Exploring Pain Points in Malaysia’s Accounting & Auditing Sector: Gaining first-hand insights into practical challenges faced by the local profession, including regulatory compliance, professional talent shortages, the implementation of e-Invoicing, and digital transformation in audit practices, while identifying synergy opportunities between Hong Kong and Malaysian firms.
- Understanding Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Tax Incentives: Reviewing Malaysia’s tax incentives for foreign enterprises, including Pioneer Status, Investment Tax Allowance (ITA), special economic zone incentives, and tailored support for key sectors such as green technology, high-tech manufacturing, and the digital economy.
